A very Dangerous expansion in Education

 Counselor’s constructing how students think and act (Liberal Indoctrination):


Personal/Social Development Program:  Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) implemented the American School Counselors Association’s (ASCA) National Standards which injects liberal concepts/beliefs called “competency indicators” into K-12 classrooms.  The ASCA program is documented in ALSDE’s Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance State Model for Alabama Public Schools (ALSDE’s Counseling Plan).

The Personal/Social Development Program “processes” are

-“Introduce” specific concepts by specific grade cluster; k-2, 3-5,6-8, or 9-12.

-Continue to “Reinforce” after the concepts are introduced and track data.

-Concepts are tracked in the school system.  No paper trail to the parent.

-ALL Students are expected to “Master” ALL concepts (competency indicators) by grade 12.

 

Concerns:

–Concern:  The public does not know anything about this program.

–Concern:  No paper trail to the parent—Under the radar approach.

–Concern:  School system shaping the beliefs/understandings of the students slowly, methodically to include such issues as; CRT, transgender, marriage configurations, equity, etc.

PS: A2.5  “recognize and respect differences in various family configurations” introduced in grades k-2   pg. 19

So technically every student in K-2 this year was Introduced to the concept that they should RESPECT a family configuration of two men, two women and a man and a woman this school year.  That concept will be Reinforced until grade 12, with the expectation ALL students will Mastered it.  There are approximately 120 competency indicators (concepts).  Parents have NO CLUE this is happening.  Indoctrination defined: The process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically.

 

Main PointALSDE has vastly expanded its mission to include controlling how students think and act about various social and liberal issues/concerns.   ALSDE’s invasion into our homes has been done administratively and under the radar of most citizens/parents in Alabama.  Bottom Line:  The PROGRAM is running in every Alabama school system.  ALSDE should never be involved with a program shaping how our students think and act.  That is the parent’s job.   Standby for a liberal “Culture Change” if this program is not removed from public schools.

  1. I am so glad you are taking a deep dive into this issue. I am very concerned too. While we all want our children to treat everyone with respect; we don’t want them taught that all marital “configurations” are normal. If that is, in fact, what schools are doing. I think we will see a rise in students that believe they are gay/lesbian if the schools remain on this path, especially if they indoctrinate in the early years . Do you think there is any chance we can engage ministers to help in this battle? I know some denominations accept same-sex marriage and the LGBTQ agenda, but there are still many that don’t. Have you spoken to any ministers about this issue? Thanks very much for all you are doing to protect our children!

    • The “family” configuration is only one of many concerning issues being “Introduced “ and “Reinforced” until the child has “Mastered” it. I have personally approached Pastors, showing them the evidence/documents. They have always been sympathetic to the concern that ALSDE is using a structured, systematic national program to indoctrinate the students in grades K-12. Note 1: The counselors, per the national program, are the ones Introducing/Reinforcing these concerning values, beliefs, and concepts in the classroom. Note 2: The national program is being used in Every Public school, affecting Every Student!
